Discover Crude Oil Tank Cleaning

In 2023, HYPEC was contracted by Texas Flow Tankage, LLC to perform an automatic mechanical cleaning of a 4.2 million-gallon crude oil storage tank located in Victoria, Texas. The project scope included the recovery of residual oil, removal of bottom sludge, and restoration of the tank for future operation. 

Our team deployed a full suite of mobile cleaning units including vacuum suction skids, jet nozzles, oil-water separation modules, and an on-site control system. 

The entire automatic cleaning operation was completed in just 7 days. Oil-water separation achieved a BS&W of less than 0.5%. The project was executed without the need for man-entry, minimizing health risks and significantly reducing operational downtime for the client. 

The successful delivery reaffirmed our ability to execute high-volume tank cleaning projects safely, efficiently, and in compliance with API and OSHA standards.
